The Flying Kangaroo Hopping Non-Stop to Europe

A recent report suggests that Qantas is looking into the viability of non-stop flights to Paris and Rome when it receives next-generation ultra-long range aircraft.

The airline’s CEO Alan Joyce commented, “We’re never going to fly to the 40 destinations Emirates has, but you could be flying to a few of those top destinations.”

For a while now, Perth-London has been pencilled in as a hero route for the Boeing 787-9, with east coast passengers connecting through Perth as an alternative to A380 flights through Dubai.
