Garuda launches 'Immigration on Board' service
On Friday 20th January Garuda Indonesia will launch their exclusive "Immigration on Board" service for all inbound passengers on direct flights from Sydney to Denpasar (currently flights GA715 and GA713).
Immigration on board makes your arrival into Indonesia easier and quicker as all immigration requirements are completed in flight. Once you leave the aircraft you can pass through the Fast Track lane, collect your luggage and be on your way. Simple.
Here's how it works-
When you check in at Sydney Airport you will be directed to the Service Desk where you can buy your Visa for AUD25.00. Once on board Immigration officers will pass through the cabins stamping passports and handing out orange fast track cards. When you arrive in Jakarta or Denpasar you will be directed straight through Customs.
